With Leather’s Watch This: Stop What You’re Doing, Here Are Some Cats Playing Basketball!

Okay, that title is a little misleading. How about “Here are some cats playing on top of something that sort of looks like a basketball hoop, while very rarely knocking a ball through the net”? That’s probably a little more accurate. But still, if you put basketball jerseys on cats and they simply play near a basketball and a net, you’ve already conquered my attention for the day. Make it baby pandas and I might faint and hit my head on the toilet and spend a few hours dreaming about animals playing sports. Thank you, Internet.

Australian Open: Men’s and Women’s Quarterfinals – 9 PM ET on ESPN2

I forgot this was even going on, so I checked the scores and results to see if Ryan Sweeting was doing well, since it’s now up to him to replace Andy Roddick as the husband we pretend to watch with the hopes of spotting his wife, Kaley Cuoco, in the stands, but he didn’t even play in this tournament. But at least he got this rockin’ tat, brah.

NHL: Wild at Stars – 8 PM ET on NBC Sports

Is it just me or does “Wild at Stars” sound like the name of a bad romantic drama starring Julianne Hough as a country singer coping with her father’s alcoholism and the increasing distance between her and her small town boyfriend, played by Chord Overstreet? Just me? Cool.

We haven’t checked in on Butler’s mascot in some time, at least since the sad passing of Blue II, so here’s a quick video of Blue III visiting a children’s hospital last week to cheer some kids up.
