Alabama’s Mack Wilson Hit a Texas A&M Player So Hard You Could Feel It Through The Screen

The Alabama Crimson Tide entered Saturday’s game against Texas A&M as an overwhelming favorite despite the fact that Nick Saban’s team was taking on one of the top ten teams in the country. Part of the reason for the optimism surrounding Alabama comes with their tremendous level of talent, and that was on full display with former five-star linebacker Mack Wilson taking part in kick coverage against the Aggies.

Texas A&M wide receiver and kick returner Speedy Noil received the ball following a field goal from the Crimson Tide and, well, Wilson got the better of their collision to say the least. The 6-foot-2, 244-pound true freshman absolutely unloaded on Noil in the open field and, in truth, there probably should have been an official review for targeting, if not an instant flag in this regard.

It isn’t every day that you see a hit of this magnitude, especially between two players that are quite recognizable on the national stage. Even if you were not familiar with Mack Wilson prior to Saturday, consider this hit, along with his overall profile as a future star at the linebacker position in Tuscaloosa, as his formal introduction to the college football world.

Just ask Speedy Noil.
