On Friday night, Marloes Coenen kicked off the Bellator 141 main card in a featherweight bout against Arlene “Angerfist” Blencowe. Coenen, the #2 featherweight in the world, battled on the ground with Blencowe in the first, dominating for much of the initial five minutes.

The second round started as the first ended, with Coenen getting Blencowe to the ground and out-grappling Arlene. Just past the 3-minute mark, Coenen sunk the fight-ending armbar, and Blencowe tapped.

Unfortunately, the submission didn’t happen before Blencowe’s arm bent in an unfortunate direction. It doesn’t look like there was horrific damage, though.

Congrats on the win, Marloes!
