Michael Vick was finally sentenced today for the illegal dog fighting ring that he ran out of his carhole. And as fun as the image above is, the reality of one of the NFL's flashiest stars going to jail for almost two years is pretty sobering.
The suspended Atlanta Falcons quarterback could have been sentenced up to five years by District Judge Henry E. Hudson. "Yes, sir," Vick said. […]
Before the hearing started, Michael Vick's brother, Marcus Vick, sat with his right arm around their mother, comforting her as she buried her head in her hands and wept.
Yikes. That's pretty depressing. For me, I mean. I had $300 riding on Marcus as the first Vick brother to go to federal prison.
