Milan Lucic Set Up A Goal With This Amazing Spin-O-Rama Pass Through A Defender’s Legs

Milan Lucic has a reputation across the NHL for being a tough player with a heavy game and while that’s not inaccurate, the Los Angeles Kings forward can also flash skill and finesse when he needs to. That was evident on Thursday night when Lucic set up a goal with this absolutely filthy pass.

During a 2-on-2 rush in the second period of the Kings’ game against the Calgary Flames, Lucic carried the puck into the offensive zone and managed to shield the biscuit from T.J. Brodie, the Flames defender blanketing him down the wing. As Brodie swarmed him, Lucic managed to deliver an awesome spin-o-rama feed through the defenseman’s legs and right on the money for a storming Jeff Carter.

Call it luck or call it insane vision, the goal was credited to Carter, who may have tipped it in. But it also looked like there’s a chance it may have been knocked in by the Flames’ Dougie Hamilton — a teammate of Lucic’s in Boston for three years — which would mean Lucic had a crazy setup for his own goal. You don’t see that too often.

As great as Lucic’s pass was, you also have to give credit to Kings defenseman Brayden McNabb, who sprung the 2-on-2 with a pinpoint bounce pass off the boards through the neutral zone.
