Hear How Disgusted The Vikings Radio Team Was On The Game-Ending Fumble

The Vikings chose poorly. Facing a third down with 13 seconds left against the Arizona Cardinals, the Vikings tried to get some yards and give their kicker a shorter field goal. It backfired in spectacular fashion when Teddy Bridgewater took a mind-numbingly stupid five-step drop only to get sacked by Dwight Freeney. With no timeouts, the game was over.

This is how “The Fan” in Minneapolis called the play:

“Oh, it’s a strip sack and Arizona recovered it and the Cardinals win.”
“Are you kidding me? That’s just like the Denver game.”
“Are you kidding me? Strip sack, Teddy dropped it, Arizona wins 23-20. My God.”

The loss put Green Bay into sole possession of first place in the NFC North. This was bad football.
