Last night's slate of thrilling games was so good that I had to put the rest of my savings into poorly thought-out bets on the other four teams that will move on to the Elite 8. Here's what's on tap tonight, besides delicious, cold beer (all times Eastern):
- Butler-Florida, 7:10 — I don't expect Butler to win. Butlers are too servile. In other news, Joakim Noah still needs dental work and a hot oil treatment.
- Vanderbilt-Georgetown, 7:27 — Georgetown is an outstanding private school that excels at hoops and (by definition) caters to privileged white kids. Just like Duke. And yet no one really hates the Hoyas. Why is that? I'm sure some asshole Duke grads can bitch about it in the comments.
- UNLV-Oregon, 9:40 — UNLV can cover the spread, right? Well, if not, no worries. I'll probably never have kids to send to college anyway.
- USC-North Carolina, 9:57 — Expect the Hansbrough Dough Boy to play well.
Who's winning? Who's covering? Let me know in the comments. No, seriously, let me know. Because I still have a couple hours to place bets.
