NASCAR Brawling Still Seems Like Something You’d See On WWE Raw

Regan Smith and Ty Dillon traded some paint at Saturday’s Xfinity series race, leading to the reaction you see in the video above. Smith was upset when Dillon’s car hit his on a restart lap near the 50th lap of the race, adding to a day full of mishaps for Smith. After piling it on for an entire race, the frustrated driver decided to confront the guy who kicked it off, leading to the little tussle above (something that looks about as good as your typical WWE contract signing).

I know fighting in NASCAR is nothing new and certainly has taken on a new light in the aftermath of Tony Stewart’s tragic incident off the track, but these little tussles still seem so staged these days. It’s the perfect bit of sanitized violence for a sport that doesn’t want to remind you of real violence and tragedy that does happen.

Or it’s two guys that really just like looking angry at each other. That’s for you to judge. Surely they’ll be patting each other on the back by next week and calling each other hoss. Trading paint, boys!
