Alabama got in a little trouble with their Alpha Phi sorority recruitment video, which featured a whole bunch of blonde girls dancing, blowing bubbles, glitter everywhere and some dancing with football players. Criticism ranged from the video being called “worse for women than Donald Trump” to making the Today show.
It’s still up there if you want to watch it, but this is a sports site, so let’s move onto other more pressing matters at hand.
And that’s the Oregon Duck deciding to do his own parody of the video. Because Puddles is the best, and always will be the best. He frolics around, throws his own glitter in the air, twirls, jumps, pops bubbles, and asks (in his own duck way) you to “pledge allegiance to the best house at Oregon” which is, of course, Autzen Stadium.
Football is finally almost here, and not a moment too soon. Now that we have mascots back in our lives doing weird mascot stuff, that means there are games to be played. Let’s all be thankful, and continue to bask in the glory that is Puddles and all our other wonderful furry mascot friends. Go, football, go.
