More details today, as police issued a search warrant of promoter Chris Mitchell's hotel room that turned up a garbage bag filled with $81,000 in cash that police believe was stolen from Pacman Jones at the Vegas strip club Minxx, the site of Monday morning's shootings.
Pacman, hanging out with Nelly and Jermain Dupree, had thrown hundreds of dollars in singles onstage when the shit went down:
An announcer told all the dancers to go to the center stage, and about 40 strippers soon were on the stage. Mitchell told the strippers from his Houston club [he had brought dancers to Vegas for the weekend] to pick up the money, which apparently was only supposed to be used for visual effect, the warrant stated.
One of the dancers than took the trash bag filled with Jones' money and a "melee broke out. Jones became irate about the loss of his money, and the fact that girls were in a frenzy, picking up the money at their feet," the warrant stated. Mitchell took the bag of cash and left the club.
So many intelligent decisions here. Like did he really need the full $81,000? Wouldn't, say, $20,000 have been enough to get through the night? And "visual effect" my ass. You put money onstage, it belongs to the girls. They work hard for that money. So hard for it, honey.
When Pacman is in Vegas, Pacman sets limits. And he sticks to them.
