Reggie Wayne has turned heel. On Monday afternoon, it was announced that the longtime Indianapolis Colts receiver and six-time Pro Bowler signed a one-year deal with the New England Patriots. The 36-year-old wideout, who is currently the active leader in catches and receiving yards, racked up nearly 800 yards and two touchdowns in 15 games with Indy last season.

The Patriots have arguably been the Colts’ biggest rivals over much of the past decade, beginning from the Tom Brady vs. Peyton Manning shootouts up until the never-ending DeflateGate saga that began during last season’s AFC Championship. Wayne has been an integral member of the Colts over the entire span of said rivalry, so Indianapolis fans will probably be none too pleased about Wayne joining the dark side.

Patriots fans, however … well, they seem to be enjoying the news.
