The secret behind Ronda Rousey and Amy Schumer’s recent get-together has been revealed! Earlier this week the two popped up in a photo on Amy’s social-media feed, and there was a lot of speculation on what they were up to. Was Amy going to show up for Ronda’s Saturday Night Live gig later this month? Was Ronda picking up some comedy tips from Amy? Or getting some advice on how to handle the arguably more brutal world of Hollywood film development?
Maybe they did all that as well, but the key reason the two ended up in the same place was to film a Bud Light Platinum commercial in Los Angeles. The Daily Mail UK has several pictures of the two women dressed up and filming the ads on what looks like a cold and miserable day. Hiding in the background of a few shots: Seth Rogen, who will also appear in the campaign.
This isn’t the first time Rousey has done a commercial for Budweiser. She was part of a larger UFC based campaign in Brazil that aired around the time she knocked out Bethe Correia in August 2015. It was pretty serious stuff, but we imagine partnering up with Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen will result in a funnier commercial more in the vein of Anderson Silva’s Budweiser showdown with Steven Seagal.
