This may seem like a meta post coming from Uproxx, but why are we (the internet, that is) obsessed with Ronda Rousey? Ever since she made her MMA debut in 2010, she’s been crushing her opponents very quickly and earning the attention of nerds and sports fans alike. Rousey has become one of the highest paid female athletes in the world in just a few years, and she isn’t afraid to take on Floyd Mayweather, Justin Bieber, and gross-looking breakfast sandwiches. She’s even taken on Hollywood with her own Road House remake. I mean, when you make a cameo in the Entourage movie, it’s safe to say that you’re set for life, right?
Since she was 14, Ronda Rousey has been kicking ass: She used to pick fights with guys for money in order to fund her frappuccinos. It seems like she hasn’t changed much — just picking fights with girls to earn a little more than frappuccino money. Her next fight is at UFC 193 against Holly Holm, who’s got a record of 33-2-3. Rousey is currently undefeated with a record of 12-0, but will she be able to defeat Holm? All she really has to do is go Super Saiyan, though, and she’ll drop Holm in no time.
