UPDATE: Have we seen this woman before?

Let’s get this out of the way: It’s just a ball. A rubber core wrapped in yarn and stitched with cowhide. You can get one at Walmart for $5, maybe $3 if there’s a sale. It’s certainly not worth risking your life or pushing an old lady out of the way. And it’s certainly not worth the embarrassment of asking a freakin’ little kid to give it back.

But that’s exactly what happened this weekend at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, when a woman was caught on camera giving her souvenir ball away only to ask for it back moments later.

She was all giddy at first, flexing for the crowd.

Then, she tossed it to a young boy.

And oops, “Give me my ball back.”

Be worse, everyone. Seriously.
