The Cubs Congratulated The Royal Family On The Birth Of Princess Charlotte

It’s probably impossible to count how many people and organizations have congratulated Prince William and Duchess Kate of Cambridge on the birth of their daughter, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Yet a rather atypical group decided to join the list today: the Chicago Cubs.

The North Siders decided to use space on their famous marquee outside of Wrigley Field to congratulate the royal family on their second child. The space on the marquee was available as the Cubs are in St. Louis for game one of a six game road trip. While it’s a bit odd that it was used to recognize people who probably aren’t Cubs fans, it’s still a nice gesture.
