Here’s one of the more nonsensical buzzer-beaters you’ll ever see. The New Zealand Breakers beat the Perth Wildcats on a miracle heave with one second remaining…except it shouldn’t have counted. Upon further review, New Zealand’s Cedric Jackson held the ball for almost three seconds and dribbled it three times before ultimately letting the shot go. For some reason, the announcers completely ignored that fact.
