Tiger Woods is winning tournaments so regularly right now that I've resorted to the rare quadruple-negative just to mix up the headlines a little.  Yesterday Tiger sunk this 25-foot birdie putt on the final hole of the tournament to edge out legendary Alabama football coach Bart Bryant and win the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Orlando.  He has won all five PGA Tour events so far this season.

There have been five winning streaks of at least five tournaments in PGA Tour history. Woods owns three of them, with the others belonging to Hogan (6) and Byron Nelson, whose 11 in a row is considered among the most untouchable records in all of sports.

That's all fine and dandy, but it's pretty sad when the greatest athlete a sport has ever seen hits a dramatic final shot to continue the quest for a perfect season, and all I can feel when I watch the three-and-a-half minute clip is that it's about three minutes too long.  Goddam, golf is dull.
