Here’s Tom Brady Catching A Pass For A Huge Gain

The Patriots are in the midst of an extremely rough day, currently down by multiple scores to the not-exactly-spectacular Philadelphia Eagles on their home turf at Gillette Stadium. In a desperate attempt to gain some momentum, Bill Belichick called a trick play that saw wide receiver Danny Amendola throw a pass to Tom Brady. Yes, that Tom Brady.

The Patriots quarterback hauled in the pass and turn on his speed jets (lol) as he took off downfield with a ton of green grass in front of him. The 36-yard gain seemed like it might reverse New England’s fortunes, but then Brady threw an interception on the very next play.

Maybe they should have let Amendola keep throwing?
