Tony Romo finally tweeted on Thursday night and posted a long-winded version of his plan for the Cowboys in the 2015 season. Nah, just kidding. He tweeted out the number “9.” You’re so mysterious, Tony. What could that possibly reference?
Tony also followed his first account, @GoNFFC. He has a link in his description to the website of the same name. And, yes, this is all a ploy to get people to that fantasy football convention in Las Vegas, isn’t it?
As we told you back in March, Romo is a big promoter of the July event, a Comic-Con of sorts for fantasy football players.
“Fans have never been closer to the game, and a lot of my buddies already see themselves as an owner or GM,’’ says Romo in promotion of the event, scheduled for July 10-12 in Las Vegas. “And now fans finally have the chance to interact with all their favorite players and experts.”
So, you see, Tony doesn’t really care about interacting with fans. He just wants your money. “MVP” level registration for the convention runs for a measly $745.
