Featherweight: Mirsad Bektic vs Russell Doane

Jessica: Ya Doane, sonne! Bektic is going to kick Russy’s ass’s face all over the cage. Bektic wins by first round TKO.

Jason: I’m going Doane because everyone else went Bektic. I think it’s best to go contrarian after what we did to ourselves last week. Jared has the right idea.

Bill: Things are about to get real Bektic. That’s it. That’s all I’ve got.

Jared: After last week, I don’t know if it’s even possible to be confident in any pick I make. That said, if Bektic loses this then I will jam a spork into my eye and film it.

Heavyweight: Stefan “Skyscraper” Struve vs Daniel Omielanczuk

Jessica: Stefan Struve is back, ladies and gentlemen! He’s going to punch Daniel Oat Meal Lunch Truck from across the octagon and just batter him to bits. Struve wins a second round TKO, and he’s not even going to have to take his normal first round beat down.

Jason: After his 16-second win over Bigfoot Silva, it’s easy to think Struve is finally on the path to greatness. I think he wins this fight, but he’ll lose again soon. Oh, so very soon. This should be an easy win for him in The Battle of People Who Have Lost To Jared Rosholt.

Bill: Stefan Struve needs this win pretty badly and he seems well set up to do so. I don’t believe Omielanczuk will give him too many problems in this one.

Jared: STRUUUUUUUUUUUUVE.

Light Heavyweight: Ovince “OSP” St. Preux vs Jimi “Poster Boy” Manuwa

Jessica: I think OSP might be better, but I’m not certain about light heavyweight in any capacity. I’m going to edge for St. Preux to win by third round knockout, I guess.

Jason: I love Manuwa. Love him. Jessica’s right, OSP might be better, especially with Manuwa being so inactive due to injuries, but MANUWA VIOLENCE! I’m taking Jimi via first round KO.

Bill: I would love to see Manuwa get a win, and I think he has a damn good shot. He’ll blast OSP in the St. Preuxs and leapfrog a few spots in the light heavy rankings in the process.

Jared: This is one of those fights that’s really hard to grade because both guys have a lot of good wins over middle-to-not-great competition. I’ll take OSP to get it done here, though, via grappling ability.

Middleweight: Gegard “The Dream Catcher” Mousasi vs Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort

Jessica: Vitor is a deflating balloon that constantly whines “unfair, brooooo!” as air and steroids escape his wilting form. Mousasi should wreck house on Belfort. Gegard wins by second round KO.

Jason: I can’t believe we’re seeing this fight. I mean, Gegard is one of my favorite fighters ever, and he shoul win this easily, but Vitor almost always crushes my dreams (he wins when I want him to lose and loses when I want him to win) so… Mousasi via 2nd round sub I guess but I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw that ‘97 Vitor hand speed FTW.

Bill: My head says Mousasi, but my heart says Vitor. I think I’m going with my brain for once, because I believe that Belfort’s time has come. Mousasi’s going to get the TKO win here, but as Jason says, never count out Vitor.

Jared: Mousasi survives the early onslaught and then TKO’s Belfort inside the first, as have most against post-TRTor.

Middleweight Title: Michael “The Count” Bisping vs “Dangerous” “Decision” Dan “Hollywood” “Hendo” Henderson

Jessica: DAN GRENADE, FIRST ROUND KNOCKOUT. HENDO CLIMBS ATOP THE CAGE AND POINTS TO HIS NARDS. AMERICA. F*CK YES.

Jason: OMG. Hendo. Knockout. Round 2 after being stunned multiple times. Everything is right with the world for a t least one night.

Bill: If Henderson doesn’t win this fight and the title by knockout, we as a society have failed.

Jared: HENDERSON (f*ck yeah!),
Comin’ again to knock the mothaf*ckin Brit out,
HENDERSON (f*ck yeah!)

Bisping fans your game is through,
Cause now you have to answer to,
HENDERSON (f*ck yeah!)
