Full Results And The Best Highlights From UFC Fight Night: Machida Vs. Anders

UFC

Lyoto Machida has lost three fights in a row. It’s the worst skid of his career after he lost two in a row in 2010 when he was knocked out by Shogun Rua and Rampage Jackson got a surprise decision against The Dragon. He’s aging now. 39 years old, and while he’s in a lower weight class and seems to be physically fine, the Machida era seems to have been a short-lived dream back when the sport was very, very different.

The athletes entering the sport are miles ahead of the men Machida would dominate for years, now we’re seeing him take on Eryk Anders, a former Crimson Tide linebacker and an undefeated prospect who could enter the next echelon of MMA stardom with a win over Machida. Does the karate man still have it?
