This Guy Caught A Line Drive With His Barehand, Recorded It On His GoPro

It’s probably safe to assume that 99 percent of the time, strapping a GoPro to your head and going to a baseball game probably won’t result in anything cool. If anything, the most notable thing you’ll record is an outfielder making a diving catch or gunning somebody out, which is nice but not exactly life-altering.

However, a guy named Micah Graves was in the stands during Saturday’s game between the Biloxi Shuckers – the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers – and the Mobile BayBears, which are the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Double-A squad. Graves strapped a GoPro to his head, and according to the video description, Shuckers’ pitcher Tyler Wagner ripped a line drive right at him.

Instead of ducking or making sure his camera didn’t get crushed by the line drive, Graves threw up his right hand and snagged the ball like it was the easiest thing on earth. Of course, everyone around him applauded him, because it was awesome.

Kudos to Graves not just for making the play, but for deciding that he was going to bring his GoPro to the ballpark on Saturday.
