Watch This Rugby Player Set Up An Astounding Play By Going All Out Mid-Flip

Nathan Friend clearly wanted his team to win this particular rugby match. The New Zealand Warriors were taking on the Melbourne Storm and knowing what I know about New Zealand from Flight of the Conchords, there’s some tension here. So when Friend had the ball and found himself going into a flip while in possession of the ball, he made an all out pass to his teammates, setting up a play that looks like a mini-version of The Play between Standford and Cal.

It’s the most fun I’ve had watching rugby since I found myself bored to death with cricket. The Warriors ended up winning the match and Friend is being touted with setting up the ‘try of the year.’ Not bad.
