Von Miller Used Instagram To Express His Discontent With Contract Talks

Super Bowl MVP Von Miller is none too pleased with the Denver Broncos’ front office right now. According to ESPN, Miller was offered a six-year, $114.5 million deal by Denver which includes $39.8 million in guaranteed money. This comes off of a season where he was an All-Pro selection and led the Broncos to a championship.

While that may sound like a lot of money to you and me, in terms of the market for NFL linebackers, it’s actually not all that great of an offer. It’s especially low when you consider that Olivier Vernon, who is not nearly as dominant of a player as Miller, got a five-year, $85 million deal from the Giants this offseason which included $52.5 million in guaranteed cash.

Miller is locked up for next season as he was hit with a $14.1 million franchise tag, but Broncos fans were, of course, hoping that the two sides would come to a long-term agreement before the season begins. With that looking less and less likely, Miller is apparently feeling some type of way about it as evidenced by his Instagram page.

See, the Broncos recently visited the White House to meet President Obama and celebrate their Super Bowl win, and Miller, Peyton Manning, John Elway, DeMarcus Ware, and Gary Kubiak all took a photo together on the White House lawn that Ware uploaded to his account.

Great, right? What a nice picture. Except, when Miller used the Repost app to share the photo with his followers, there was something that was just a little off about it…

Yeah, Miller went ahead and cropped out Elway from the photo altogether. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but a cropped picture is worth even more.
