Watch Gymnast Jonathan Horton’s Superhuman Run On ‘American Ninja Warrior’

I don’t know about you, but this makes me want to go to the gym immediately. This is Jonathan Horton, a 29-year-old American gymnast who competed as a walk-on contestant in Monday night’s American Ninja Warrior course in Houston. Standing at just 5-foot-2 makes him the shortest man to ever scale the show’s warped wall.

This isn’t the first record he has broken: During his gymnastics career at the University of Oklahoma, he earned six NCAA individual titles, and holds the OU record for his 18 All-American honors in his collegiate career. Not to mention, he won silver for the United States on the horizontal bars in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. If you’ll excuse me, I have to go to the gym to feel less pathetic about myself after watching this.
