Veteran outfielder Torii Hunter had himself a meltdown Wednesday night against the Royals. It all started in the eighth inning, when Hunter argued a strike call with home plate umpire Mark Ripperger. That quickly led to an ejection, which then quickly morphed into a temper tantrum that featured Hunter throwing clothes on the field. At one point, it appeared that he called the ump some unflattering names.
