Wisconsin’s Cheerleaders Had To Leave The Field After Getting Pelted With Snowballs By Their Own Fans

Saturday was a particularly tough day for the Wisconsin Badgers. Not only did their football team struggle to muster any sort of momentum in the first half of their game against Northwestern, the team’s fans also turned on each other in the process.

The Wisconsin cheer team was forced to leave the field after getting bombarded by snowballs from fans in the stands. Such an incident wouldn’t be all that surprising in college football’s highly competitive atmosphere if those snowballs came from opposing fans, but that wasn’t the case.

Instead, those snowballs came flying from Wisconsin’s own students just behind one of the endzones at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison. So much for home field advantage, I guess.
