Sofia Vergara Is The Year’s Highest-Paid TV Actress By A Wide Margin

Everything’s coming up Vergara. Her show, Modern Family, won Outstanding Comedy Series at the Emmys for the 28th year in a row. She’s dating marble slab Wolverine. AND she’s the highest paid TV actress of the year, despite sounding like “she has a d*ck in her mouth.” It’s not even close.

The actress lands in the No. 1 spot for a third year in a row, with a remarkable $37 million — that’s more than our top-earning TV actor, Ashton Kutcher ($26 million). At 42, the Modern Family star continues her streak in large part due to her business savvy. Like the rest of her cast members, the Colombian-born star earns a reported $325,000 per episode, but the bulk of her earnings come from her lucrative endorsements and licensing deals. Vergara is the face of Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl, Head & Shoulders, AT&T T, and the medication Synthroid. (Via)

The second highest paid actress: Mariska Hargitay, with $13 million (did she get any royalties from the approximately two people who bought on The Love Guru on DVD this year?). Basically, Vergara’s the Modern Family of celebrities, so expect her to top Forbes’ list for another 17 years.
