Benedict Cumberbatch famously photobombed U2 at The Academy Awards back in March. Last night, he explained to Jimmy Fallon the inspiration behind the Cumberbombing. Apparently, his friend Helen is a die-hard fan and pleaded with him to get a picture with them. So, the British actor took it upon himself to “run on several publicists backs and launched off Whoopie Goldberg at the last minute.”
What a hero.
