Taylor Kitsch And Rachel McAdams Are Confirmed For ‘True Detective’ Season 2

After months of speculation and weeks of “everyone knows Tim Riggins and Regina George have already signed up for the damn show, so why hasn’t it been announced yet,” HBO has finally confirmed that, yes, Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams will be in True Detective season two, joining Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, and your comical suggestion of Statler and Waldorf.

Here’s who they, and fellow new cast member Kelly Reilly, will be playing.

Rachel McAdams as Ani Bezzerides, a Ventura County Sheriff’s detective whose uncompromising ethics put her at odds with others and the system she serves.

Taylor Kitsch as Paul Woodrugh, a war veteran and motorcycle officer for the California Highway Patrol, running from a difficult past and the sudden glare of a scandal that never happened.

Kelly Reilly as Jordan, Frank Semyon’s [Vince Vaughn’s] wife, a former D-list actress who is a full partner in his enterprises and ambitions. (Via)

Now all that’s left is everything else. That’s the easy part.
