A few years back, Dustin dug up an old educational film about menstruation from 1974 starring a young Jonathan Banks as the clueless boyfriend of a 15-year-old girl who gets her first period. At the time, he called it without an iota of hyperbole: “The greatest thing in the history of all-time, ever.” He’s not lying. It is spectacular.
You know who doesn’t think it’s spectacular? Jonathan Banks, who appeared on Conan last night only to be surprised with a clip from the 40-year-old film. Explaining that as “no good deed goes unpunished,” he did it as a favor to a friend whose girlfriend was producing the film. He also calls out the “motherf*ckers” who put it up on the internet in the first place for our viewing enjoyment.
While I do kind of understand his position… there’s no hate, Jonathan Banks. We only laugh because we love.
