Have you ever done something embarrassing at a wedding? Make an embarrassing speech or wear the wrong colored cummerbund? It would have to be pretty bad to top Adam Scott and Paul Rudd having their dicks out in a wedding reception video.
Scott told Seth Meyers all about the embarrassing ordeal on Late Night. A mutual friend of his and Rudd’s was getting married, and they both agreed that it would be best to show their stuff for the congratulatory video.
We each do a segment. If I’m not mistaken, Paul’s was him in a tight closeup reciting a poem by E. E. Cummings, on the verge of tears. And then the camera backs up and he is in fact masturbating to internet pornography. Mine was, I tell a long sentimental story about Christmas, and then stand up and I’m not wearing any pants.
The video as it turns out is shown at the reception.
This resulted in both having to be kicked out of the reception and apologizing to everybody at brunch the next day. As Scott needlessly confirmed, “It was terrible.”
