Kerry Ingram, Who Plays Shireen Baratheon On ‘Game Of Thrones,’ Is Healthy And Adorable On Twitter

I know many of you are still reeling over one of the most shocking, painful death through six seasons of Game of Thrones, which took place in the most recent episode when Stannis Baratheon — previously a decent chap who had a lot of love for his daughter Shireen — up and burned that daughter alive because Melisandre told him to. Twitter went crazy, and the critics went apoplectic, decrying the series for crossing the line beyond the lines it had already crossed. Some are saying that the death of Shireen was indefensible (although, the showrunners attempted to defend it), while there was another round of folks who swore off the show again.

But it’s also important to remember that, while you may have had an enormous amount of affection for Shireen Baratheon, she is just a character. A fictional character in a fictional show. In fact, if it makes you feel any better, Kerry Ingram — who played Shireen Baratheon — is still alive and well in real life (and without any of the greyscale). She did, however, want to thank you all for your thoughts after the episode.

She is also the most adorable 16-year-old girl …

… although, despite her best efforts, she does not yet have well defined ab muscles.

She also loves Dominos pizza, but she can only eat so much.

She’s also clearly a fan of Pitch Perfect 2, and she has a splendid singing voice (too bad we didn’t get to hear it on Game of Thrones).

And look at her as an adorable child.

OH MY GOD, HOW COULD YOU KILL HER STANNIS. YOU MONSTER.

BRING HER BACK, PLEEEEEAAAAASE.

On the other hand, if Stannis hadn’t burned her alive, I’m sure that the White Walkers would’ve eventually gotten her anyway.

R.I.P. Shireen Baratheon.
