Admittedly, everybody might be overdoing it a bit with all the Donald Trump coverage, but he’s still leading polls, so he still has to get talked about. But how did we get here? This opening Daily Show segment reflected back on 2012, when the world was ending, and the RNC vowed to appeal more to women and Hispanics on the heels of Romney losing the presidential election, and how that somehow lead to Trump’s current dominance.
