While promoting the HBO “Special Comedy Mocumentary Doc Sports Event” 7 Days In Hell, Andy Samberg caught a bit of the flu. Jimmy Kimmel appreciated Samberg’s perseverance to go on the show, but he couldn’t possibly risk getting sick himself, so either he or someone at ABC went to great lengths to ensure Kimmel’s health. Seems a bit extreme, but you can’t risk tainting the host.
Below, Samberg talks about just how little resistance there was to getting 7 Days of Hell off the ground, from pitching the idea to HBO to getting Jon Snow on board.
