Maisie Williams Says That Interview With Kit Harington Was ‘Fabricated’

Unlike Jon Snow himself, Jon Snow Watch lives on for another week. Game of Thrones could win Outstanding Drama Series nine years in a row, and it still wouldn’t generate as much attention as whether Jon Snow will return in season six. The correct answer is obviously yes, which Kit Harington seemed to confirm in a recent interview with Belgian magazine Humo. “Let’s just say that Game of Thrones will remain a part of my life for a while,” he said, “I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over.” Oh good, that means last season’s MVP is returning, and he’s alive!

About that.

TVLine caught up with Maisie Williams (who hasn’t worked with Harington since season one) at the Emmys, and she called bullsh*t on that Humo interview. Is he dead? “He’s dead,” she replied. “And the interview you’ve all read that thinks that Kit spoiled it is fabricated.”

So. Take that, random Dutch magazine. “He’s dead” still leaves room for Jon Snow to return, as a white walker or Lady Stoneheart (twist!) or whatever. But I guess we’ll have to wait and find out what happened to the Lord Commander (who’s bound to appear in a tortilla or oil stain any day now — WHAT DOES IT MEAN???) the ol’ fashioned way: by watching the show. How primitive.
