The worst three minutes of my life were the three minutes I spent thinking Donald Trump was funny. Damn you, “Donald Trump House of Wings,” and damn you, SNL, for bringing Trump back. Even Aerosmith has better standards.

NBC News reports that the presidential candidate will host the Nov. 7 episode, with musical guest Sia. It will be Trump’s first SNL appearance since 2004, although he’s been impersonated by Darrell Hammond, Jason Sudeikis, and Taran Killam since. But what about Sanjaya?

Here’s what Tina Fey had to say about Trump running for president a few months ago:

It’s great for comedy. It’s one of those things where I’m sure Saturday Night Live wishes they were on the air right now … next year at this time you’ll be doing a panel with just Darrell Hammond. (Via)

Trump recently praised Killam’s impression on Twitter, writing, “@TaranKillam plays a way better fake @realDonaldTrump than a real @HillarlyClinton plays herself,” which Hillary shockingly didn’t RT or even Fav. Which is, as you doubtlessly know, plain ol’ poor Twitter etiquette. Meanwhile, Ben Carson continues to wait by the phone for a call from Lorne Michaels that will never ever come.
