Amy Schumer announced Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she will be appearing on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, premiering on Monday. It’s also fitting that she made the announcement to Kimmel, who himself appeared on The Bachelor last season as a guest host.
We don’t know yet what Schumer’s full involvement on The Bachelorette will be, but she’ll appear on an episode in two weeks accompanying the ladies and their men (because there are two this season) on a date. She also claims to know who the winner is, so it seems like she’ll be sticking around for more than just one guest hosting gig.
Goddammit. Does this mean I have to watch The Bachelorette now? Don’t get me wrong, I kind of want to watch it every season, but it’s on for like six hours a week, and I just can’t make that commitment. I guess I’ll now have to try. Thanks a lot, Amy.
