Baby, We Got A Stew Going With The Best ‘Arrested Development’ Guest Stars

It doesn’t get much better than Arrested Development in its prime. While the fourth season doesn’t quite live up to the first three, it’s hard to tarnish the top-notch dialogue, characters, and plots from the series as a whole. Every member of the Bluth family is perfect, but the rest of the cast is just the nuts to top off the frozen banana. With so many amazing guest stars on Arrested, it’s hard to pick the best, but here are some of them.

Not only is Carl Weathers funny (as Carl Weathers) he provides useful tips on acting and advice on saving money. How else would the layman know the difference between a restaurant employee’s shift meal or a discount on specific menu items? That’s the kind of information that’s invaluable.

Then there’s Scott Baio as Bob Loblaw. Though he mostly serves as a straight man on Arrested, Loblaw opens the door for this gem of a Tobias-ism (although it unfortunately cuts before Tobias acts out gobbling up Loblaw).

Though she’s at the center of arguably the zaniest of AD‘s plots, Charlize Theron makes her MR.F character adorable and hilarious. Theron isn’t really one for TV acting, but she fits right in here, keeping her secret from Michael, the rest of the Bluth family, and even the audience. (Cue “For British Eyes Only.”)

Henry Winkler as Barry Zuckercorn is the lawyer that no one wants, in the show or otherwise, and one of the few recurring characters to show up consistently throughout all four seasons. While his tastes for prison- and rest stop-love evolved over that time, our love for the shark-jumper never changed.

Gene Parmesan makes the list, if for no other reason than to hear Lucille say “AAAHHHHHH GEEEEENE” every time he pops on screen.

Those are just a few since it seemed like every other episode was introducing a memorable guest star. Onward to season five!
