The panelists on The View got to talking about the practice of “self love” during this morning’s episode, as a bunch of menopausal ladies, a gay man and Jenny McCarthy are wont to do, and — much like the time my mother-in-law drunkenly talked about ‘that time’ she and my father-in-law watched a porno together — the name of Barbara Walter’s vibrator is something I’ll never be able to unhear. On the plus side, I have always found “selfie” to be the most asinine word ever and now that Barbara Walters has ruined it, maybe we can all agree to stop using it.
