On April Fool’s Day last year, Rihanna busted into Jimmy Kimmel’s house while he was sleeping — with some help from Kimmel’s wife — and put on a small performance of her latest song right in the middle of Kimmel’s bedroom. It was a fine prank if you enjoy pranks, although nothing near the ongoing war between Matt Damon and Kimmel.
Now, straight from Las Vegas, Britney Spears wants to try the same thing with her army of half-naked dancers and living Christmas tree. It comes on the heels of Spears announcing her latest release on Apple Music and puts a mini version of her Vegas residency right in the middle of Kimmel’s bedroom.
His face when the entire show begins is priceless because it is the same face you might have if you wake up to the cat vomiting in the hallway or an actual thief making his or her way into the home before watching television. He just looks kinda pissed before realizing what is going on. I don’t know how you could tell until it was all over, but he’s more familiar with Spears recent work it seems.
They hug and make up at the end, celebrate a bit, and then head off back to Vegas. My only hope is that guy wearing the lights and sparkly things had to walk.
