Former ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ Contestants Dish On Working With Trump To Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler brought former Celebrity Apprentice contestants Khloe Kardashian, Clay Aiken, Lisa Lampanelli, and Nene Leakes onto her Netflix show Chelsea this week to discuss competing on Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s reality show. All of the guests were fired by Trump except for Leakes, who quit. “I was so over the show,” Leakes said. “I just couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t stand arguing every day on the show, I was about to pull my wig off, so I just quit.”

“I just didn’t care to do Celebrity Apprentice, I don’t know why, it just wasn’t for me,” Kardashian told Handler. “My mom made me do it, of course, so I did it, and I hated every minute of it.” When Handler asked her what was so bad about it, the middle Kardashian sister said she wasn’t prepared and didn’t find the experience applicable to her life. “Stressing myself out, and then dealing with him, it was just like ‘F*ck you, I don’t want to do this,'” she said.

“In all honesty Chelsea, I have no problem with Trump as a human being,” Lampanelli said. “But here’s the deal: Trump is effing crazy. Because in that boardroom he will say some pretty crazy stuff to the women. We all know he loves beautiful women,” she said. Noting that her appearance on Celebrity Apprentice came before her 100+ pound weight loss, Lampanelli said she felt “left out” when Trump would tell the other women in the room how beautiful and lovely they looked.

Aiken said he didn’t dislike the experience, and that Trump can be “very gracious” in person. He clarified, however, “Even though he was nice, he was still a narcissist.” The former American Idol runner-up stated that he thinks Trump will end up winning the election.
