Jimmy Kimmel Asks Kids Give Their Honest Opinions About Donald Trump, And They Are Not Impressed

In the aftermath of Donald Trump being elected president last week (by less than half of those who voted), the overall mood in the country has ranged from depressed to really effing depressed, as the nation attempts to wrap its head around the fact that we just handed a reality TV star with six bankruptcies under his belt literally the most important job in the world. This must be an especially confusing time to be a kid, as children are normally taught to respect the President of the United States.

To get an idea of how kids have viewed this election, Jimmy Kimmel sent a camera crew out onto Hollywood Boulevard for Friday night’s show to ask children about what they think about Donald Trump. In a nutshell — at least with the ones they spoke to, anyway — not much! The first child they spoke to said Trump made him feel “kind of iffy” because “he’s really rude,” while another said “not really comfortable!”

One baby just flat out began crying at the mere mention of Trump’s name (to be fair it was probably more the microphone being shoved in her face, but still), while others called him an “idiot,” said he “looks like a dope,” and that he also looks “weird.” Out of the mouths of babes.
