Remember when Conan writer Andrés du Bouchet tweeted his misgivings about the state of late night comedy in America? Just in case you didn’t see it, check ’em out in Jason’s article from yesterday. du Bouchet said a lot of understandable-yet-unpleasant things about his employer’s contemporaries (and competitors), though he didn’t really name names. Kind of.
Well the boss man decided to wade into the Twitter debate on Sunday afternoon:
I wish one of my writers would focus on making my show funnier instead of tweeting stupid things about the state of late night comedy.
