Courtney Love Has Joined The Cast Of ‘Sons of Anarchy’ For Its Final Season

Earlier today Dustin posted the new skullrrific teaser for the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy, recapping everything we know so far about the upcoming season (including the news of Jax being thankfully clean shaven because at least we get one season of seeing his pretty face without that awful grungy Spencer Pratt-reminiscent flesh colored beard) — BUT WAIT, because FX just threw us a total game-changer. Variety is now reporting that none other than Courtney Love is joining the cast in a multiple-episode capacity.

Naturally, when I saw this news, I immediately thought that this was as natural and obvious a pairing as peanut butter and meth — BUT WAIT, because double game changer: Love will be playing a freaking pre-school teacher. What. The. Hell.

The rocker will join the show for a multi-episode arc as Ms. Harrison—the pre-school teacher of Jax’s (Charlie Hunnam) eldest son Abel.

Her character plays a pivotal role as she takes a special interest in Abel, which will most likely catch the attention of Abel’s mother, series regular Drea de Matteo.

Okay, so let me get this straight. The woman known mostly for being a trashy drug-addled degenerate in her personal life who wasn’t even entrusted with raising her own child is joining the cast of trashy drug-addled degenerates where she is to play a pre-school teacher. Makes sense to me!

Meanwhile I hear Gwyneth Paltrow is in talks for a Sons cameo as some skuzzy prostitute Jax makes nasty sex with one night after doing something terrible to Wendy. Well, she’s actually not, but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised.
