‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Wrote An Anthem For Anyone With ‘Heavy Boobs’

The title is (as the theme song suggests) misleading, and musicals aren’t for everyone, but The CW’s Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is one of the unexpected delights of the 2015-16 season. Rachel Bloom is a Golden Globe-winning revelation, and the only thing crazier than the titular ex-girlfriend is the number of original songs in every episode. Bob’s Burgers typically has one, often during the end credits and they’re all great, but in 15 episodes, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend is somewhere in the 40s. That figure will continue to increase during next Monday’s “Josh’s Sister is Getting Married!” And speaking of figures…

In the episode, after Josh’s sister Valencia asks Rebecca (Bloom) to be her bridesmaid, they go dress shopping together. “While trying on dresses,” according to E! Online, “Valencia comments on Rebecca’s chest size, out of jealousy, but Rebecca is quick to point out big breasts aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.” She does so through song. “Heavy Boobs” is both a love letter to big breasts, and an educational “screw you” to anyone who think it’s awesome to be so well endowed. They look “super fly in shirts,” but really, they’re just “sacks of yellow fat, like the stuffing of a couch.”

Think about that the next time you’re ogling Kate Upton.
