A&E’s ‘Omen’-Inspired ‘Damien’ TV Series Has A Teaser Trailer

A&E’s got a new show based on The Omen coming along next year — and this atmospheric new teaser trailer gives us a small taste of what to expect.

Fans of The Walking Dead (you know who you are) should note that Damien has that show’s fingerprints alllll over it. Glen Mazzara, executive producer of Dead (as well as other shows, like LifeHawthorne, and The Shield) serves the same role on this and brought along Bear McCreary to do the score. Bradley James is on board in the title role, with Barbara Hershey in the cast as well, playing Damien’s mother.

Interestingly enough, this horror/drama series was originally intended to air on Lifetime (Television For Omen?), but just four days later, the show moved to A&E. Whatever network it’s on, it’ll start a ten episode run next season.
