Elisabeth Moss Slammed Fred Armisen, Kinda

“Mad Men’s” Elisabeth Moss took part in an interview with Page Six Magazine recently, where she talked about everything from dressing all sexy-like in her private life (“Sometimes you just wanna wear somethin’ real tight and show it all off,” she says, blue eyes twinkling. “Lately I’ve been in that mood.”), to drinking (“I’m not a big fan of whisky or vodka-I just don’t like the taste. So I’m just a beer and wine girl. I’m also kind of a lightweight, so like, two glasses of wine and I am gooood.”), to playing one of the more interesting female characters on television (“I think as women in the workplace, we’re constantly trying to find a balance between being taken seriously and feeling sexy and good about ourselves, and that applies to actresses as well. I think Peggy has really been struggling with that balance for the last five years.”) But because I am a blogger and words like “MAD MEN” STAR ELISABETH MOSS SLAMS EX-HUSBAND AND “SNL” CAST MEMBER FRED ARMISEN BOOM ATTACK MODE CLAWS OUT will be pretty great for traffic, I’ll just yoink that for the block quote.

“It’s so hard to talk about,” she says, growing quiet.

“One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, ‘He’s so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.’ To me, that sums it up.”

I think, if we unpack that a little, she’s implying that Fred Armisen is an alien. We should probably be making a bigger deal about this.
