Zombies Attack In The Latest Look At ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Season Two

The second season of The Walking Dead‘s spin-off sister show Fear The Walking Dead arrives on April 10th, and as the date approaches, AMC has been ratcheting up the action we’re seeing in trailers and promotional materials. At first we just had the cast pensively staring off into the horizon with worried faces. Now we get to witness the point where things on land get so bad they’re forced to flee to the ocean.

I don’t know about you, but on the water seems like a bad place to be during the zombie apocalypse. Sure, many amateur zombie survival planners like to point out that there’s no such thing as a zombie Michael Phelps. And Fear The Walking Dead showrunners have specifically stated that zombies don’t swim.

But you know what kills you just as surely as zombies? Drowning. Heck, just get a little wet and hypothermia could take you out. Salt water will kill you if you drink it. Plus sharks. Let’s not forget about sharks. In short, the ocean is just as bad as the zombie apocalypse, we’re just used to it because most of us have the good sense to stay the hell away from it.

Now that the land is covered in walkers, the water is going to be full of crazy flailing clueless survivors, all getting their first education in what a harsh mistress the ocean actually is. It’s guaranteed to be a total sh*t show for the poor bastards on Fear The Walking Dead, which is why I’m excited for it to return in April.
