In the early days of HBO’s Last Week Tonight — just prior to the start of the 2014 World Cup, long before U.S. authorities dropped the hammer on them — John Oliver took FIFA to the woodshed for being the corrupt Bond villains that anyone paying attention prior to today has known them to be. It was arguably *the* moment in the show’s history where it sort of found its groove, and it’s worth re-watching in light of what went down in Switzerland earlier today. Enjoy.
